Skillet of the Week… Ashley Tisdale

The first skillet in the A.WE (after .wordpress.com era) is little Ashley Tisdale. You may not know who she is, and to be honest, neither did I. Until that faithful day that La Diabla pointed her out to me. (By the way, you should marry the girl who points out cute girls to you.) Well, I’ll explain in a little more detail. We were surfing channels (not watching a show on the Disney channel that we’ve somehow become addicted to starring a certain ex Achy Break Heart singer and his daughter named Miley Cyprus. We’re fucking dorks.) and Ashley popped up and did the whole Mickey Ear thing. I said, “She’s cute.” La Diabla says, “Yeah, that’s Ashley Tisdale. Can you believe she’s like 23?” Um, she’s legal? Sweet! And that’s how I became an Ashley Tisdale fan.

Who is she? Well, let’s take it to the Wiki’s. She plays Maddie on the show The Suite Life… I think it has the kids that wipe their own ass from Big Daddy. They’ve gotten fat. Kids should be on diets. She also plays Sharpay Evans in the wildly successful High School Musical. I haven’t seen the movie/musical, but it’s everywhere I go. If you have a family member under the age of 13 you know this movie, but you’ve probably never seen it.

She has done some legit work, too. Not that Disney Channel isn’t legit; I mean, just ask Shia LaBeouf. She was in Donnie Darko, and a whole slew of television shows.

She also had a record that came out in February. Yeah, that’s weird, but keep in mind she became famous for a musical. I actually didn’t know about the record, but it’s not like I’m going to rush out and buy it. No, that’s dumb. Some would even say creepy for a 26 year old guy to go out and buy a Disney produced CD. Nope… I’ll download it.

Anyhow, I’m sure she’s about to become a really big deal, so get used to her. She’s pretty cute.
