Toph Speaks

I’m not sure where I am going with this TV blog, because I have both distaste and praise to send out. I guess I could just start with a praise section, then do a distaste section. It’s probably easiest if I do so. I’m just focusing on last night’s shows, because it was all so confusing. I’m not even sure where to start, maybe likes? Probably likes, because you people love to read about the bad stuff. Hopefully, I will keep your attention long enough to stop you from immediately scrolling down.

The Good -

Lost was great last night. The scene with Evangeline Lilly in her undies was brilliant. Everything she did last night was great, except doing Sawyer. He’s been bothering the hell out me lately. It’s like my friend Christian said, “Why is he taking orders from the fat guy?” Keep in mind, Christian hates Lost, but he has a point. It seems like his character is getting weak, and that’s not good based on the previews for the upcoming episodes. Lost is getting weird, even for me. The whole chick out of the helicopter thing last night was weird. She wasn’t who he thought she was, but she still knew who Desmond was? I guess we’ll see what all of that means soon. My last problem is where in the hell did The Others go? How was it possible to completely move camp that quickly? They were living in homes, and now they’re just gone? I can’t wait for the upcoming Wednesdays.

The Bad -
Have you bothered to watch Thank God You’re Here? No? Don’t. Take it for me, it is horrible. If you like shows with moderately funny people, attempting to do the same thing over and over again, then this show is perfect for you. I’d like to let you know who last nights contestants were: George Takei, Chelsea Handler, Tom Green, and Shannon Elizabeth. I’m not going to lie, Chelsea Handler was cute and funny. I’ve even always been a Tom Green fan, but my god, it was terrible. Green broke everything in site, because he thought it would be funny. Takei was on Star Trek, and if memory serves, is the first ever gay trekie? No, that can’t be right, can it? Shannon Elizabeth was absolutely terrible. She did manage to kiss the entire cast, though. The show is a joke. It’s not funny. It’s like if you took Who’s Line is it Anyway, mixed in some crap, and asked Dave Foley to judge it. Wait, Dave Foley is judging it. He hasn’t been funny since News Radio, and that was only because of the amazing cast around him.

The worst news of the night, though, belongs to American Idol. Sanjaya, you’ll always be my American Idol. I’ll miss you.
